How to add email/letter template fields

Template fields allow you to dynamically load in data to pre-fill and personalize email and letter templates. You are able to easily identify a template field tag as it will begin with {{ and end with }}

How to add template fields

Navigate to the email template or letter template section, either Settings > Email Templates or Settings > Letters

  1. Click the Email Templates or Letter Templates tab

  2. Create a new template or click Edit on an existing template

  3. Click and place the text cursor where you'd like to add the text field, click the Add Field drop down and select the data you'd like added (start typing to search more quickly)

  4. Click Add to add your selected field to the template

Adding template fields allows you to easily propagate details pulled directly from your Eagle Database, therefore giving you the ability to tailor and personalize any letter or email that you send, to any situation.

Some examples of template fields that you can use are:

  • Inspection Date - Will insert the inspection date of the property added in to the email.

  • Property Advertised Address - Will display the property address based on how you have chosen to display it (eg: Street Address, Suburb/Suburb).

  • Appraisal Contact Email - Will insert the email address of the contact associated with the Appraisal.

  • Contract Settlement Date - Will display the settlement date of the contract linked to the email.
