Assigning Contacts to groups within Eagle gives you further control over your database and is a wonderful tool to assist in marketing your listings to the relevant people.
From the CRM tab select Contacts from the left hand side menu.
Individually select the contact/s you wish to add to a new group or select them in bulk by using filters.
Once you have created the list of contacts you need, click Select all from the top right hand corner of the list and you will be given a list of options.
From the new list of options select Add to group which will give you a drop down menu of all the available groups in your account.
Select the group you wish to add your contacts to from the menu.
The contacts you selected will now all be added to the new group you have selected as well as any other group they were previously assigned to.
When creating a new contact or editing an existing contact, you are able to create a new group instantly. In the Group field of the contact, simply enter the name that you'd like the group to have and click the box that appears with "(New Group)" after the name. When this contact is saved, the group is created! This allows you to create groups on the fly, as the need arises.
To remove a single contact, or multiple contacts from a group, select the relevant group from the right hand side of the Contacts page. This will populate a list of the contacts included in this group. Select the contact or contacts that you'd like to remove from the group by clicking the check box to the left of the contacts name.
When a contact is selected in this way, a new set of options will appear under your filters:
Click the Remove from group button to remove the selected contacts. Using this method you are also able to send bulk Email or SMS correspondence to your contacts or even export a list of the selected contacts for your reference.
