Different listing status in Eagle

There are a number of different statuses for different listing types and different websites use slightly different terminology.

We also understand that different states also use different terminology and also consider status changes to occur at different stages within the sales process.

To keep things as consistent as possible EagleCRM uses the same status terminology as realestate.com.au.

For a Sale listing

What WILL be advertised:

  • Active
This is a current & active listing For Sale. When it is first uploaded to the portals, this will typically display as a New Listing on the portal sites.

  • Under Offer
This is the same as Under Contract for some websites. So some site will display the property as Under Offer and some may display this as Under Contract.

  • Sold
For some regions, this is when the property has gone unconditional, for others it is when the property has settled. Either way, the property will display as Sold on the portal websites.

What WILL NOT be advertised:

  • Draft
This is how every listing should begin in EagleCRM as this is the stage at which the listing information should be entered. EagleCRM will not automatically publish out a property at the Draft status and if it is manually pushed through it will not be advertised as an Active listing.

  • Off Market
The property is sold by another agency OR the agency no longer has the sales agreement OR the listing should be unpublished and removed from the websites temporarily.

  • Withdrawn
Similar to the Off Market status above, but a more permanent removal from the websites. Typically used when the agency is no longer going to advertise the property for sale.

For a Rental Listing

What WILL be advertised:

  • Active
This is a current & active listing For Rent/For lease. When it is first uploaded to the portals, this will typically display as a New Listing on the portal sites.

  • Under Application
This is when the listing has an application that is currently being processed.

  • Let
Once an application has been approved for a listing and the tenancy is going to proceed. This means the property is no longer advertised as an actively For Rent property.

What WILL NOT be advertised:

  • Draft
This is how every listing should begin in EagleCRM as this is the stage at which the listing information should be entered. EagleCRM will not automatically publish out a property at the Draft status and if it is manually pushed through it will not be advertised as an Active listing.

  • Deleted
This is when the property upload is in error and the listing should be removed and not accessible by the agency.

  • Off Market
The property is leased by another agency OR the agency no longer has the rental agreement OR the listing should be unpublished and removed from the websites temporarily.

  • Withdrawn
Similar to the Off Market status above, but a more permanent removal from the websites. Typically used when the agency is no longer going to advertise the property for rent or lease.
