How to share segments
When creating a segment you have the option to share it with other users, teams or offices within you account. You can set the sharing settings when creating or editing a segment.
How to view segments that have been shared with you
Once another user has shared their segment with you, your team or your office, it can be displayed within your sidebar so you can access it easily.
In the Segments section of the sidebar, click 'Show Shared Segments'
Use the dropdown to find the segment you'd like to add to your sidebar
Click 'Add to sidebar' to add the segment to your sidebar
You can not edit segments that have been shared with you, only the segment creator can edit it.
Hint: Sharing segments is especially useful for defining and centralising the segments used within your account. For example, a sales manager may create and maintain a suite of segments which all users assigned to the sales team would use. If a change is needed the sales manager updates the segment and it updates for everyone.
Default segments
Eagle comes with a suite of default segments to get you started. Default segments can not be changed. You can either use the default segments or tailor your own segments by creating a new segment from them.
