Previously, tasks were shown in the right sidebar when viewing a contact, listing, appraisal etc.
With the introduction of the new activity feed, tasks have now been moved inside the activity feed. There are a number of advantages of having tasks in the activity feed including:
View and click through to all associations of the task
See who created the task (whether that is another user or an automation)
The task shows within the timeline of the activity feed based on it's due date (or at the top if overdue)
Once a task has been completed, instead of disappearing it continues to show in the activity feed as completed so you can refer to it later
Using the Tasks tab, you can see all tasks in timeline order (including completed tasks)
