Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security process that requires users to provide two different ways to verify themselves when logging in. We strongly recommend using 2FA as it provides a much higher level of security and makes it significantly more difficult for someone to gain access to your account.
How to setup 2FA with Email
Go to 'My Profile'
Set your 'Secret question', scroll down and click 'Update'
In My Profile, click the 'Enable Email 2FA' button'
All done! You'll be prompted to verify using email authentication every 30 days on each device you login to Eagle with.
How to setup 2FA with Google Authenticator
Go to 'My Profile'
Set your 'Secret question', scroll down and click 'Update'
In My Profile, click the 'Enable Authenticator 2FA' button
Follow the prompts on page to download Google Authenticator (or you can use your preferred authenticator app)
Open Google Authenticator, click the plus icon and scan the QR code
Enter the code provided from Google Authenticator and click 'Submit'
All done! You'll be prompted to verify via Google Authenticator every 30 days on each device you login to Eagle with.
How does it work?
After you login with your email and password, you'll be prompted to enter a one-time code to successfully login. You'll only need to verify with 2FA every 30 days per device.
We have two different types of 2FA so you can choose the method that suits you best.
Email verification - The one-time code is automatically sent to your email address when signing in. Copy and paste the code from your email to complete the log in process.
Authenticator verification - The one-time code can be obtained from your authenticator app on your mobile phone.
