Using Pipelines and Deals requires the optional Pipelines module

Pipelines are a great way to track leads and close deals. Eagle comes with a suite of default pipelines which you can use or alternatively you can create your own. For more information about how you can use Pipelines, please see our release note here.

In this article:

  1. Navigate to the Pipelines section in the left main menu

  2. In the top right corner, click the dropdown arrow (next to 'Edit pipeline') and click 'Create pipeline'

  3. Give your new pipeline a name, create the stages and set your sharing settings

  4. Click 'Save Pipeline'. Your new pipeline is now ready to start creating deals!

How to edit a pipeline

  1. Navigate to the Pipelines section in the left main menu

  2. In the top right corner, click the 'Edit pipeline' button

  3. You can update the pipeline name and sharing settings within the 'Pipeline' tab and the pipeline stages in the 'Pipeline Stages' tab

How to create a deal

How to view and manage deals

Pipeline screen

You can view and manage your deals visually in the pipeline screen:

  • Drag and drop the deal to move deals to another stage

  • Hover over the deal card to view the dropdown to either Edit or Delete the deal

  • Hover over any association icon to display the tool tip for that association record

  • Click through to any associations of the deal

  • Click on the deal card to view the main Deal screen

Deal screen

Access the deal screen by clicking on a deal in the main pipelines screen. Use the deal screen to work on and progress a deal:

  • View the activity feed for the deal

  • Add notes to the deal

  • Send emails, SMS or letters to deal contacts

  • Create and manage deal tasks

  • Create and manage deal events

  • View and click through to all associations of the deal

How to delete a pipeline

To delete a pipeline, click the Edit pipeline button when viewing a pipeline, and under the edit screen of a pipeline, you will see a Delete Pipeline button.
Do note that you need relevant User Permissions to delete a pipeline and deleting a pipeline will also delete all the pipeline stages and pipeline deals associated with that pipeline.
