Earn commission from utility connection leads

YourPorter is only available in Australia. See our Fast Connect integration for utility connections in New Zealand.

YourPorter helps your clients to save time and remove the hassle of arranging your utility connections. When clients sign up to utilities through YourPorter, your office earns a commission.

How to setup the YourPorter integration

Eagle has partnered with YourPorter to provide a seamless utility connection integration. All Eagle accounts come with the YourPorter integration included.

To setup the YourPorter integration:

  1. Go to Settings (top right corner)

  2. Click into Integrations (left main menu)

  3. In the YourPorter row, click Setup

Select your utilities connection provider - Use the drop down to select YourPorter

Credit leads to - You can choose to credit leads to either the user who sends the lead, the first listing agent or the second listing agent.

When marking a listing as Leased, send lead by default - Set whether the checkbox to send the successful tenant lead is enabled by default or not.

When marking a listing as Under Offer or Sold, send lead by default - Set whether the checkbox to send the purchaser lead is enabled by default or not.


How to send leads to YourPorter

Before sending a lead to YourPorter, you should ensure you get your client's consent to do so first. Copy the terms and conditions located at the end of this article into your rental application or other forms to collect your clients consent.

Sending successful tenant leads

  1. When updating the listing status to Let, a Successful Tenants field will show

  2. Fill in the Successful Tenants using the contact search

  3. Tick the checkbox for Send Lead to YourPorter for Utility Connections

  4. Scroll down and click Save

Sending purchaser leads

  1. When updating the listing status to Under Offer or Sold, a Purchasers field will show

  2. Fill in the Purchasers using the contact search

  3. Tick the checkbox for Send Lead to YourPorter for Utility Connections

  4. Scroll down and click Save

(Note: A lead will only be sent once. If a lead is sent at the Under Offer stage, it won't be sent again when updating to Sold)


How to obtain consent to send leads to YourPorter

Incorporate the below terms and conditions into your rental application form to collect your client's consent to share their information with YourPorter.

YourPorter Terms and Conditions

YourPorter is a FREE connection service takes the stress out of organising the connections of all your services such as electricity, gas and water whilst finding competitive rates from a large panel of suppliers.

Once YourPorter has received your application, they will make all reasonable efforts to contact you within 24 hours of the nearest business day to identify how they can help.

You agree and acknowledge

  • That you accept the YourPorter terms and conditions that may be accessed at https://www.yourporter.com.au/

  • That YourPorter will contact you by telephone, email or text message in order to provide the services requested by you even if your details are registered on the Do Not Call Register.

  • That YourPorter may share your details with their suppliers and service providers in order to facilitate the connection and/or disconnection of the requested services.

  • That YourPorter may receive a fee from the suppliers and service providers, part of which may be paid to a YourPorter referral partner, and you are not entitled to any part of any such fee.

  • That YourPorter does not accept any liability on behalf of the suppliers and providers.

You further authorise YourPorter to:

  • Obtain the National Metering Identifier and/or Meter Installation Reference Number of the properties that you are vacating and/or relocating to.

  • Contact you with future promotions and offers, you can opt out at any time.

By agreeing below, you warrant that you are authorised to make this application and provide the invitation, consents, acknowledgments, authorisations and undertakings set out in this application form on behalf of all the applicants listed herein.
