The source field on a contact allows you to keep track of where a contact came from.

In this article:

Adding a source to contacts

Contacts can be added to a source in many different ways:

  • Portal enquiries - the source will be set to the name of the portal (eg. Realestate.com.au)

  • Website enquiries - the source will be set to website

  • Inspection attendances - the source will be set to open house

  • By editing the contact - you can set the source manually on a contact either in the web or mobile app

  • Third party websites/platforms - When importing leads using Zapier or through our API (eg. facebook ad leads) the lead will be set to whatever is defined in the Zapier action or API payload

Filtering contacts by source

You can find contacts or associated records using the contact source filters as outlined below:

  • Contacts > Source

  • Address > Owner > Source

  • Address > Tenancy > Source

  • Appraisal > Vendor > Source

  • Listings > Vendor > Source

  • Listings > Purchaser > Source

  • Contracts > Vendor > Source

  • Contracts > Purchaser > Source

  • Application > Applicant > Source

  • Application > Landlord > Source
