Why can I see different numbers in Eagle Software?
There are several reasons why there might be discrepancies between what you’re seeing in Agora Insights compared to Eagle Software.
Check Report Configuration
Under the Report Actions dropdown, you can Configure your reporting methods:
Calculate Financials by: Ensure the sales figures (e.g., Sales Value, Gross Income, and Net Income) are based on the expected date type.
Count by: Property counts can be configured differently:
"Whole Count": Counts one listing regardless of the office/agent split.
"Office split%" or "Agent split%": Counts based on the office's or agent's assigned contract percentage.
For agent reports, "Agent split% x Office Split%" considers the agent's share of the overall contract.
These settings can be adjusted at the office level by an Office Administrator (Admin > Office Report)
Why is the gross commission number not what I am expecting?
To work out the amount paid by the vendor, we sometimes need to reverse-calculate the percentage amount entered in Eagle Software.
While this number should still be correct, it may be a number you cannot currently see within Eagle Software.
Why are some live sales marked in red?
We consider a sale life ‘invalid’ if it meets one or more of the following criteria:
Gross Commission is negative
Gross commission < Gross commission less deductions
Office split % is negative
Office gross income is negative
Gross commission < sum(agent commission splits)
Office gross income < sum(agent commission splits)
Gross commission < office gross income
How often does data sync from Eagle Software to Agora Insights?
A sync runs roughly every ten minutes. You can expect your changes to appear in Agora Insights within 15 minutes of a change made in Eagle Software.
What does the ‘Refresh Results’ report filter do?
You may notice a ‘Refresh Results’ filter under the Advanced Options section of a report. This filter has two options: ‘On every report generation’, and ‘Daily’. Most reports have this set to ‘Daily’ as a default.
Most of the time, you won’t need to worry about this filter. However, if you’re making a lot of changes in Eagle Software and wanting to see them the moment they have synced across from Eagle Software, you may wish to set this to ‘On every report generation’.
What this filter does:
Immediately returns the most recently-generated results, meaning you do not need to wait for them to be re-calculated.
If you need to view updates that have very recently synced through from Eagle Software, you can select ‘On every report generation’, and re-generate your report to see them.
What this filter doesn’t do:
Sync data from Eagle Software. Data is always coming in from Eagle Software, irrelevant of what this filter is doing.
