Why MFA?
Short answer - security.
Longer answer - MFA is an important security tool is important because it adds an extra layer of security to your online accounts and helps protect your sensitive information from unauthorized access.
Enhanced Security: MFA provides an additional barrier beyond just using a username and password to access an account. It requires users to provide at least two pieces of evidence to verify their identity, such as something they know (password), or something they have (mobile device).
Protection Against Password Attacks: Many security breaches occur due to weak or compromised passwords. Attackers can use techniques like phishing, brute force attacks, or password reuse to gain access to user accounts. MFA adds an extra layer of protection by requiring a second factor, which makes it much more difficult for attackers to gain access, even if they have obtained a user's password.
Safeguarding Against Stolen Credentials: MFA helps protect against stolen or leaked passwords. If a user's password is compromised in a data breach or through other means, MFA acts as an additional safeguard.

Using Okta as an Identity Provider (IdP) will provide a more modern and secure approach to authentication than basic form authentication, which will allow us to manage user access to all of our applications and systems in a centralised way and provide SSO with other MRI products
What does this warning message mean?
This warning indicates that you are using another MRI CRM such as Property Tree or Vault and the username and email within the other CRM do not match exactly with B+D. To fix this issue, update your username and email in Eagle CRM to match what's in the other CRM.
If I have Okta set up with another CRM, which password should I be using?
If you already have Okta set up with another CRM before enabling it with Eagle CRM, the password you use for Okta for the other CRM is the same password for Eagle. The Okta App works with the same username and password across all MRI Software Platforms.
Can I use one MFA Authenticator for all MRI Software CRMs?
Yes, while Property Tree use SMS, when prompted to set up the MFA for Eagle CRM this will override the SMS function and you can use the same code for all systems.
Do I need to use the Okta Verify App?
No, you can use any other app or option from the list

Can I remove MFA/Opt-Out?
A user can not remove/opt out of Okta MFA, but you can change the authenticator method as above.
