Integrating Your Listings with Eagle

Eagle Software offers various XML feed formats for integration, including ReaXML (the most popular), Domain XML format, View XML format, and REIWA XML format. The XML feeds are sent as files to an FTP server that you set up, and you can retrieve the data from the XML files. Whenever a listing is updated, a new XML file is pushed with the latest data. To import ReaXML, you can use WordPress plugins like FeedSync as an example.

Option 2 - API

IMPORTANT: The Eagle Software API is primarily intended for experienced programmers who want to build mobile apps, reporting apps, web applications, and similar projects. If you have a WordPress website, it is recommended to use an XML feed integration instead of developing for the API.

To pull property data from EagleCRM, you can refer to the API documentation, specifically the Properties endpoints, which provide information on how to retrieve the desired data.

We offer the service of building the inside of an iframe for you and loading in your properties. However, it's important to note that using an iframe for integration is not recommended due to its suboptimal browsing experience for your clients. Additionally, there are additional costs associated with setting up iframe contents. For more details and information, please contact us.

Integrating Website Tracking with Eagle

Eagle Software can generate tracking codes that can be placed on your website. This tracking code allows you to view website visitor logs on the contact record. To set up this feature, you can refer to the instructions provided in this help article.

Integrating Contacts with Eagle

Option 1 - API

IMPORTANT: The API is for experienced developers to build mobile apps, reporting apps, web applications, etc. We strongly suggest using Zapier for WordPress websites.

When an enquiry is made on your website, you can send the contact data to Eagle using our API, which is documented here.

Please note that when sending an enquiry to Eagle using the API, you should use the note type "Enquiry" and include the note text as the body of the enquiry.

Option 2 - Zapier

Zapier is an online automation tool that enables you to connect and automate workflows between various applications, including Gmail, Eagle, Office 365, and many others. With Zapier, you can create automated actions, known as "Zaps," that allow data to be seamlessly transferred and synchronized between different apps. This helps streamline processes and eliminates the need for manual tasks.

To learn more about Zapier and its capabilities, you can refer to this help article for additional information.
