Summary

The Prospecting feature makes it easier for a manager to assign an agent a map of addresses to manage. Learn how to navigate the Prospecting page and how a prospecting area differs from a focus area.

This article covers:

Prospecting overview

The Prospecting feature allows you to identify and target potential clients within a specific area. You can create and manage a focus area on the map, allowing you to perform tasks or actions related to selected addresses. Data such as ownership details, last sale information, and property features (e.g., number of bathrooms, bedrooms, and garages) are sourced from CoreLogic and PriceFinder.

About areas in Prospecting

Assigning a prospecting area to an agent allows you to plot a prospecting area and manage a focus area within a prospecting area.

Prospecting Area

A Prospecting area is a plotted broader location.

Focus Area

A focus area is a smaller and more detailed area within the prospecting area that gives you a map of addresses you can manage. It limits the number of addresses you can manage to 1,500.

View the Prospecting page

The main Prospecting page contains three main features. To access these features:

  • Go to: CRM tab

  • Select Prospecting from the left-hand side menu

On the Prospecting page, you will see the following main tabs and a button:

  • My Focus Areas - This tab allows you to view a list of prospecting areas and access each prospecting area assigned to you

  • All Focus Areas - This tab shows a list of all prospecting areas assigned to you as well as other focus areas assigned to other users

Data in the My Focus Areas and All Focus Areas tabs include:

  • No. of prospects - This gives you the number of addresses in the database for that prospecting area

  • Focus area name - This column provides the name of each prospecting area

  • Assigned - This column gives you the name of the agent who is assigned to a specific prospecting area

  • To be completed by - This gives you the ability to set a duration to manage addresses assigned to you in a prospecting area

Note: Once the duration of the prospecting area has lapsed, this won't delete the data and map of a prospecting area.
